Synopsis 
“Tinik” tells the story of three characters deprived of love, and upon finding it they realize that true love is elusive because it is worth keeping.

The center of the story is Mik, a gay couturier who is pushing fifty amidst a struggle of moving on from bereavement after a beloved boyfriend died in an accident which he blames on himself. Having born from a poor family and orphaned at a young age, Mik persevered and succeeded in making a name for himself in the fashion industry, but failed to find a lasting love life.

When all seems vain, Mik meets a young and dashing basketball coach named Danny, whose good looks and magnanimous heart win him over. Upon the prodding of his close gay friends, Mik gives his heart another chance and helps Danny with his income and studies, putting both of  themselves into the verge of an intimate relationship in the process.

When Danny meets Nicole, a model that works for Mik’s fashion line, a mutual attraction develops between them. Despite Nicole’s status as a mistress of an old rich man, Danny offers to marry her as soon as he raises the money. But when he’s all set, he finds out that Nicole has betrayed him for another man, and realizes that the true love that he’s been yearning for he has already found in the person of Mik.

When Danny returns to Mik, it is not the ending he has hoped to happen, as he learned that true love is indeed elusive because it is worth keeping.

Characters

ABIGAIL; CHARICE- Nicole’s younger siblings, aged 15 and 13, respectively.
         
BENJO (late teens) - The second eldest child after Nicole. His enrollment scene in college provided a connection between Danny and Nicole.

RAGBOY (10-13)- A former solvent boy who discovered his talent and passion for basketball after training under Danny.

MIK and MIGUEL’S ATTACKERS- Two rogue men who sexually harrassedMik in a restaurant and accidentally killed Miguel who defended Mik from them

MIK and DANNY’S ATTACKERS - Two men who avenged against Mik for spoiling their advances to one of his female models, and accidentally wounding Mik with a gunshot after he defended Danny

LITTLE BASKETBALL PLAYERS (9-13) - The young boys trained by Danny in basketball

MIK’S FEMALE MODELS - Beautiful ramp models who work atMik’s fashion house

FLOWER VENDOR - Seller of Magnolia flowers to Danny and Nicole
